摘要
本研究探索英语专业大学生的翻译学习观念及其发展特点。357名英语专业大学生参加了实验。研究结果表明:(1)英语专业大学生较为认同的翻译学习观念主要集中在翻译学习策略和翻译学习动机方面,较不认同的翻译学习观念主要是关于翻译学习的自我概念、翻译及翻译学习的性质方面;(2)英语专业大学生的翻译学习观念包含5个因子;(3)英语专业大学生翻译学习观念的发展特点是先有显著性变化,后趋于稳定,逐渐成熟;(4)翻译学习观念的形成存在一个关键期;(5)语篇层面的翻译可能是影响学生翻译学习观念形成的重要原因之一,句子层面的翻译对学生翻译学习观念的影响不大。
This study explores the translation learning beliefs and their features of development of 357 English majors. The study results reveal that : ( 1 ) English majors are convergent on the beliefs of translation learning strategies and translation learning motivations, but divergent on the beliefs of the self-concept of translation learning, the nature of translation and the nature of translation learning ; ( 2 ) translation learning beliefs are composed of 5 factors ; ( 3 ) the development of translation learning beliefs is characterized by early significant change, ensuing stability and growing maturity; (4) there is a critical formative period for translation learning beliefs; (5) translation of texts is one of the possible causes affecting the formation of translation learning beliefs, while translation of sentences exerts few effects.
