The VAI plate mill technology is a full line optimization system, this technology includes: the plate mill scheduling model PLATE combined to the hydraulic screw-down system and its automation(HAGC) , constituling the hydroplate package for the control the plate thickness. The Plan View Rectangularity(PVR) modle to the Hydroplate package for the optimum plate rectangularity. The Hydraulic Scew -down system for the Edger Mill and its automation(AWC) linked to the edger model for the control of the plate width. The heavy work roll bending technology and its automation for the control of the plate profile and flatness during rolling, The ADCO cooling unit and the ADCOLINE modle for the cooling control of the plate at the end of the rolling operation. The pre-leveler technology and the fully hydraulic hot leveler for a full gap control(FGC) inside the leveler and the PLATE leveling model for the optimum plate leveling and flatness control etc. These technology combining high technology equipment and automation integration through the process line, to meet the end goal of improved plate high guality, increased overall process yield and reduced production costs.
