信息技术在英语教学中的作用及局限

Functions and Limitations of Information Technology in the English Teaching

信息技术越来越多地运用于外语教学。它们可以多层次、全方位地展现教学内容,有利于教师的授课讲解,吸引学生积极参与教学、激发学生的学习兴趣,大大地提高教学效果。但信息技术也有局限性,不可能完全代替教师的作用。教学中,教师要恰当使用这个新生事物,使其充分发挥作用,更好地为教学服务。

At present,information technology has been more and more applied in the teaching of foreign languages. These technologies can display the teaching contents in different levels and comprehensive ways,make for teachers＇ instruction and explanation,attract students to take part in class,and arouse their learning interest. All this can improve the teaching effects greatly. However, information technologies also have some limitations and they cannot replace teachers thoroughly. In the teaching, teachers must learn how to employ those new things properly,to give its full play and make them serve the teaching better.
