认知诗学视角下的心理空间网络体系特征——从《到灯塔去》谈起

Features of the Mental Space Network:A Cognitive Poetics Perspective of To the Lighthouse

维吉尼亚.伍尔夫的意识流小说《到灯塔去》的独特的心理空间网络体系,给常规读者的文本解读带来了一定的挑战。本文以心理空间理论为根基,从认知诗学的角度探讨了文本的心理空间网络体系特征,即物理空间背景化、心理空间层级化和回归越级化等特征,旨在引导读者构建立体的心理空间网络体系,充分领悟文本的深层主题内涵,提高文本的鉴赏力。

The unique Mental Space Network （MSN in short） in the stream-of-consciousness novel To the Lighthouse by Virginia Woolf causes some challenge to the ordinary readers＇ appreciation. From the perspective of cognitive poetics, this paper is concerned with the features of the MSN in the discourse on the basis of the Mental Space Theory, namely, back- graunding of the Basic Spaces in the MSN, hierarchical embedding of the MSN and regressionally crossing the Basic Spaces and Subspaces of the MSN. It aims to guide readers to establish the dimensional MSN of the discourse so as to fully appre- hend the thematic connotations hidden in the discourse and enhance their aesthetic appreciation o f the novel.
