摘要
在西方哲学发展演变的历史中,始终围绕着理性主义和经验主义两大思潮曲折发展,而在语言学的发展中,也体现出这种哲学思潮的变化,具体表现在每一次思潮的变化都会影响到语言学研究的理论和方法。在语言研究中,与理性主义思潮相对应的是形式主义,与经验主义思潮相对应的则是功能主义,所以语言学的发展则基本围绕形式主义和功能主义曲折前进。
In the course of its development and evolution, Western philosophy has always been witnessing a tortuous development centering around such two philosophy trends as rationalism and empiricism. As a result, the development of linguistics also reflected this change of the philosophy trends. The embodiment is that the theories and methods of linguistic study would be affected by the change of the philosophy trends every time. In linguistic field, rationalism corresponds to formalism and empiricism corresponds to functionalism, so the development of linguistics moves on around the formalism and functionalism.
