摘要
法律英语作为一种深受法律职业影响的英语语言变体,其词汇和语法具有明显不同于普通英语的特点。本文对法律英语词源渠道、术语词汇、句式的特点及其应用做了详细的分析和总结,旨在揭示法律英语的词汇风格分化特点及成因,以期从理论上指导法律英语的教学和实践。
Legal English is a variation of English language which is deeply affected by legal profession, whose vocabulary and grammar are quite different from general English. This paper analyzes and sums up the source of legal English etymologies, terminology vocabulary , pattern features and applications in detail. This paper aims to guide theoretically the instructions and practices of legal English by uncovering the features and causes of vocabulary style differentiation.
