Drawing From Overseas and Self-examining,‘Made-in Shanghai' Seeks For A Breakthrough——A Review of Shanghai's ‘Third Industrial Revolution' in 2012

本文对2012年上海知识界针对"第三次工业革命"展开的广泛讨论进行了梳理。这次讨论,与自2011年起全国层面的"第六次科技革命"讨论一样,其本质都是为经济的转型发展提供解题思路。国家层面更注重科技革命可能带来的机遇,而地区层面则更注重产业革命所将带来的先机。

This paper aims at sorting out the broad discussion about the ＇Third Industrial Revolution made by intelligentsias in Shanghai, 2012. Similar with the national-wide discussion of the ＇Sixth Scientific Revolution＇ since 2011, the essence of both was to provide solutions for the transitional development of the economy; however, the former discussion focused more on the initiatives that industrial revolution would generate while the latter focused on potential opportunities that scientific revolution would bring
