On the QoS Strategy of Fuzhou Education MAN Video Conferencing System

文章以福州市教育城域网网络视频会议系统为背景,介绍该系统的实现,并对系统QoS控制模块进行研究。随着现代化信息技术的不断延伸,基于IP的网络视频会议系统融合了现代信息技术和网络技术,为远在万里之外的用户建立起远程合作桥梁。然而传统的视频会议系统往往因为其复杂的设备,较大的投资,而无法普及开来。本文致力于研究如何在具有一定程度的延时、抖动的网络环境下,网络视频会议系统提供端到端的服务质量保障,有效消除网络的动态变化对接收端视、音频播放的影响。让QoS管理技术在福州市教育城域网视频会议系统中得到很好的发挥,保障福州市教育城域网在关键业务上的应用。

Based on the Fuzhou education metropolitan area network （MAN） video confereneing system, this pa- per introduces the realization of the system and makes a study of the QoS control module. With the continual im- provement of the modern inlbrmation technology, MAN system based on IP fuses modern information technology with network technology, establishing a cooperative bridge for users that are thousands of miles away. The traditional MAN system, however, is difficuh to get popular because of the complicated equipment and the large investment. This paper focuses its study on the guarantee of the end-to-end service quality provided by MAN system in the con- text of the network environment with a certain amount of delay and jitter, thus efi^ctively removing the effect on the audio-video play at the receiving end that is brought about by the network dynamic changes. Let QoS management technology play a good role in Fuzhou education MAN network video conferencing system and guarantee the applica- tion of Fuzhou education MAN in key businesses.
