观光农业是农业和旅游业结合的一项交叉性产业，它对我国实现新农村建设目标有巨大的推动作用。本文论述了观光农业的概念、特点及分类，总结了中国观光农业发展的现状和发展过程中存在的问题，结合国外观光农业的发展历程和成功经验，以期为我国观光农业的发展提供参考。

Rural tourism is a kind of agriculture and tourism intercrossed industry which helps to achieve the target of promoting the Construction of a New Socialist Countryside. This paper discusses the conception, character and style of rural tourism, and analyses the situation in China and the problems in the course of the industry development. It points out the successful experience of overseas rural tourism so as to solve the problems of rural tourism in China.
