The experience on decreasing coke rate of the blast furnace at shuiye iron and steel co was analyzed and the following results were obtained: the high quality burden is the basis of blast furnace production. The factors for affecting coke rate were discussed such as coal injection, blast temperature, silicon content and charging patterns.
