Based on the analysis of principle of Value Engineering,the basic concept and principles of Value Engineering are defined,the significance of Value Engineering in the university teacher resource management is sketched,and the application of its principle in selection and employment of university teachers,payroll management of university teachers,performance management of university teachers and other aspects of university teacher resource management is discussed.
