997名高职护生人口老龄化知识和对老年人态度的相关性分析

目的了解高职护生人口老龄化知识掌握情况和对老年人态度现状,探讨两者之间的相关性。方法采用分层整群抽样方法抽取某校高职一年级和二年级1 006名护生,运用一般资料问卷、人口老龄化知识问卷和老年人态度问卷进行调查。结果高职护生人口老龄化知识得分(12.09±4.54)分,老年人态度得分(160.54±17.82)分;人口老龄化知识与欣赏维度呈正相关,与偏见维度之间成呈负相关(P=0.000)。结论护生对老年人态度趋于正向,但人口老龄化知识比较缺乏;人口老龄化知识掌握越全面,对老年人态度越正向。护理教育工作者应加强对护生人口老龄化知识的教育。

Objective To understand the status of knowledge of and attitude to seniors, and to explore the correlation between the two in higher vocational nursing students. Methods With stratified cluster sampling, 1 006 nursing students were investigated by the General Information Questionnaire, Palmore＇s Facts on Aging Quiz （FAQ1） and Kogan＇s Attitudes toward Old People Scale （KAOP）. Results The score of FAQ1 was 12.09±4.54, and that of KAOP was 160.54±17.82. There was a positive correlation between appreciation dimension of KAOP and aging knowledge, and a negative correlation between prejudice dimension of KAOP and aging knowledge （P=0.000）.Conclusion Higher vocational nursing students hold positive attitude towards the aged, but lack aging knowledge; the more aging knowledge, the more positive attitude toward seniors. Nursing education for aging knowledge needs to be promoted.
