The patrol maintenance system of water supply combining with GIS was established in Suzhou City Water Company in order to enhance the management of the network, and improve the efficiency of patrol maintenance system and the informatization level of water supply enterprises. The establishment and main functions of the patrol maintenance system of water supply were introduced. The practical application of the system was discussed from the aspects of patrol of pipelines and valves, leakage inspection of network, rush repair of network and information maintenance of GIS.
