摘要
"本体论"是ontology的译名,但这个译名并不能全面揭示古希腊亚里士多德"第一哲学"的特征。在中文语境中,第一哲学体系本身就包含了本体论和存在论两个层次的内容。对于古代哲学来说,本体论指的是追问世界本原的哲学形态;对于现代哲学来说,本体论既可以指称"本体论承诺"意义上的理论前提,也可以指称现代自然哲学。文章追溯了本体论的原始意义,提出了同时使用"本体论"和"存在论"两个译名来翻译的观点,并在这样的基础上对本体论在现代语境中的多重含义进行了概括,对于理解现代自然哲学的目标以及界定科学与哲学之间的关系具有重要的启发意义。
＂Bentilun＂ is the translation of ontology,but it can＇t fully reveal the character-ristic of the Aristotle＇s＂ the first philosophy＂in ancient Greece.In the Chinese context,the system of the first philosophy itself contains two levels＇ contents on the ＂Bentilun＂and＂cunzailun＂.For the ancient philosophy,bentilun refers to philosophy which ask the origin of the world;In modern philosophy,ontology can refer to theory premise in the sense of ＂ Ontological Promise＂,and can refer to modern natural philosophy.The article traces the ontological origin meaning,and puts forward the viewpoints to translate ontology with ＂ bentilun＂ and＂ cunzailun＂ two words,and a variety of meanings are summarized in Chinese context on the ontology,which has important inspiration and significance to understand modern natural philosophy＇s goal and define the relationship between philosophy of science.
