This thesis made a simple introduction to welding at first, and then analyzed in modern society the important role of welding. Covers the basic four method ＂flat, vertical, horizontal, overhead welding operation points and matters needing attention and mastering the basic four method＂ meaning. Electrode arc welding ＂basic four method＂ is the most basic students welding practice the most commonly used welding method, welding rod arc welding can correct operation ＂basic four method＂ directly influence the weld quality and product quality. It is only through study, practicing, and combined with the actual production, explore, and constantly improve, such ability in welding production, will be ＂the basic four method＂ and three dimensional motion agile reasonable use, improve the operation skills, to ensure the production practice of product welding quality.
