政府国际公关的话语策略研究——基于《纽约时报》对新疆“7·5”事件报道的分析

Studies on Discourse Strategy of International Political Communication:Case Study on New York Times Report on Xinjiang “7·5” Incident

伴随中国经济稳定发展,崛起的中国应使用何种话语向国际社会传递信息,成为中国政府国际公关面临的重要挑战之一。基于"他者"认知,用目标受众普遍熟悉的话语模式和话语策略进行传播,是提高传播效果的重要路径之一。在信息全球化和网络2.0的传播语境中,国内危机事件常会迅速转化为国际热点。新疆"7·5"事件作为引发国际社会关注的典型案例,受到美国《纽约时报》大幅报道。话语分析的研究方法从语境创设、语言标识符运用、消息来源、责任归咎等维度解构《纽约时报》有关报道所建构的"新疆印象",探求其内在的话语逻辑,可以为我国政府构建有良好传播效果的话语体系提供发展思路。

With the tell China＇ s story to the rapid and stable development of China＇ s economy, how will the rising China world becomes a hot issue in China＇ s international political communication. As one of mainstream approaches to improve communication effect, effective discourse strategy emphasizes the employment of western established popular reporting techniques and discourse mode, which is easily and widely accepted by target audience. Under the setting of information globalization and Web 2. 0, domestic crisis can be quickly transformed into international focus. New York Times large coverage of Xinjiang ＂7 ~ 5＂ Incident has offered some enlightenment to understanding western reporting technique of the print media. The research method of discourse analysis has been applied to deconstrnct the text from the perspectives of agenda - setting, linguistic application, sources of information and attribution of responsibility, and explore its linguistic logic of constructing ＂Xinjiang Image＂ More illumination on China＇ s international political communication will be found.
