Group cooperation learning is a new college English teaching mode. In this article, the author sum- marized the research progress at home and abroad of it;fatherly analysized the necessity that it should be com- bined with college English teaSching, at the same time, the author interpretated systematically the basis of the theory that formed the mode. In the end, the author proposed the developments and educational？ enlightenment of group cooperative learning mode.
