摘要
《母亲》是诺贝尔文学奖获得者赛珍珠女士的代表作之一,从生态女性主义的角度来解读这部作品,是研究该作品的一个新的切入点。生态女性主义提倡改变人统治自然的思想,推崇人与自然的融合,讴歌女性的本质,批评男权和父权的价值观。《母亲》关于男性与女性、人与自然关系的思索反映了生态女性主义的核心要旨,具有广泛的社会意义和极高的思想价值。
The Mother is one of the representative novels of Pearl Sydenstricker Buck, a winner of the Nobel Prize in Literature. Commenting on this work from the perspective of eco-feminism can provide a new approach to its studies. Eco-feminism advocates changing human being＇ s rule of nature, attaches great importance to the harmony of human being and nature, praises women highly, and criticizes the value of male power and patriarchy. The conception of the relationship between men and women, human being and nature in The Mother reflects the core essence of eco-feminism, which has a wide range of social significance and a very high value of ideology.
