Freeing at the Edge to Confront the Mainstream: On Chen Ran's Novel Narrative in1990s

陈染(1962～)是崛起于后新时期的女性作家,她1990年代的小说创作,多带有自传色彩,透过第一人称娓娓道出成长经验和内心世界,呈现性别书写和个人书写的双重特质,本文从这两种特质,析论陈染1990年代小说的性别关系描写和叙事语言运用,探讨她如何以女性议题和个人主义等边缘写作,建立个人风格,与男性和群体的主流写作对抗。

Chen Ran （ 1962 - ） is an important female writer rising in the Post New Era. Her novels in 1990s always tell growing experience and inner world by first - person, and show both characteristics of female writing and personal writing. This paper analyzes Chen Ran＇ s novels in 1990s from these two characteristics and discusses how she creates her personal writing style to confront mainstream writing.
