Homeland and Identity:Double Imaginations

活跃于20世纪30年代的上海新感觉派作家穆时英与20世纪60年代在台湾现代派文学中崭露头角的白先勇谈不上有直接往来,但是他们小说叙事中对家园的想象以及"回归初始"的精神愿景和身份追寻将他们联系在一起。在部分作品中,表现着一种特殊的对话。

Mu Shiying was an active writer of the New Sensation School in Shanghai in 1920s. Bai Xianyong was a new figure in the Modern Literature of Taiwan in 1960s. There is no direct relationship between them, but their works link them together in the aspects of homeland imagination, returning to the origin and identity pursuit. A certain kind of special dialogue is reflected in some of their works.
