Design and Implementation of Smart Home Based on Internet of Things

针对传统的以嵌入式家庭网关为中心的智能家居系统的不足,提出一种基于物联网的智能家居系统。利用Zigbee无线传感器网络来采集家居内的环境、设备及人员信息,再由物联网网关将这些信息转发至互联网中的服务器,用户通过浏览器或客户端软件登录服务器便可以监控智能家居各个子系统的运行状况。通过应用实例验证了这种由家居设备、物联网网关、服务器和客户机组成的系统是稳定可靠的。与其它系统相比,该系统不但可以实现海量数据的存储、更美观的界面和更方便的操作,而且还可以与互联网上的其它计算机系统实现信息共享。

A smart home system based on the Internet of Things was discussed to overcome the shortcomings of those traditional smart home systems in which embedded home gateways act as the center. The Zigbee wireless sensor net-work was used to collect the information of indoor environment,equipment and personnel location,and the gateways for lnternet of Things were responsible for transmitting these information to the computer servers on the Internet,thus the users can log on the servers through Browsers or client software to monitor all subsystems of the smart home. It was illustrated that such a system composed of household devices,gateways for Internet of Things,servers and client computers was stable and reliable. Compared with other systems,this system can not only achieve massive data storage,more beautiful interface and more convenient operation,but also can share information with other computer systems on the Internet.
