摘要
提出了一种TR-UWB系统中抑制离散功率谱分量的方法。通过在发射脉冲信号加入随机相位抖动,这种方法可以抑制和消除TR-UWB系统发射信号功率谱中的离散分量,同时其实现简单且无需对接收机结构进行修改,与其他离散谱抑制方法相比具有优势。理论分析和计算机仿真表明所提出的方法可以有效地平滑TR-UWB信号的功率谱并且不会影响原系统的误比特率性能。在FCC规定的辐射掩模下,通过抑制离散谱分量可以将实例中的TR-UWB信号发射功率提高约14.5 dB。
A technique to suppress the discrete power spectral density (PSD) component in transmitted reference ul- tra-wideband (TR-UWB) system is proposed in this paper. By adding random phase jitters in the transmitted pulse signals, this technique can suppress and eliminate the discrete PSD of the TR-UWB signals. Comparing with other discrete PSD suppression approach, the proposed technique does not need to change the receiver structure and has very low complexity. Theoretical analysis and computer simulations show that the proposed technique can smooth the PSD of TR-UWB signal effectively with no damage to the receiver's BER performance. By this suppression technique, the transmission power of the instanced TR-UWB signal under the FCC mask can be increase about 14.5 dB.
