摘要
教育成人目标的达成有赖于公共生活这一基本场域。公民的生活是一种具有公共性的生活,惟有个体理性的参与才能促成公共生活的秩序与和谐,个体的公民品格也可在公共生活实践中得以形塑。公共生活的展开意味着公共善、正义、友爱等基本价值在公共空间中的显现,个体向着公共空间开放、追寻公共价值的过程,反过来也是公共生活与公共价值拥抱个体、共同体的逐渐形成的过程。个体进入公共生活的过程,也就是个体在展现自我、充实自我的同时进入公共生活价值熏染之中。进入公共生活,向公共空间开放,接受公共价值的熏染,在造就公共生活共同体的过程中,让个体成为活在公共生活中的真实个人。
The cultivating goal of education depends on the basic field, i. e. , public life, of which the orderly and harmonious state results from rational participation of individuals, because the life of civilians bears publicity, and the civilian character of individuals can be shaped in public life. The unfolding of public life means the manifestation of such basic values as "public", "kind", "righteous" and "friendly", it is a process of individuals' being open to public space, seeking public values. In turn, it is also a process of public life and public values embracing individuals, a gradual shaping process of a community. The process o[ individuals' entering public life is that of individuals' being influenced by the value of public life while demonstrating and enriching themselves. Let individuals, during the process of constructing a community of public life, be real individuals living in public life, by opening to public space, being influenced by public values and entering public life.
