The fact that exploration informationization technology becomes one of the core exploration technologies of Shengli oil field is characteristic in the process of exploration informationization construction in the Geophysical Research Institute of Shengli Oilfield Branch Co., which provides services for the scientific research of the exploration, reconstructs the traditional industry techniques, enhances the exploration techniques, improves the work efficiency and effects. The paper classifies the process of exploration informationization into three stages, and gives the characteristics of each stage.
