The paper explains means of the digital reference service and collaborative digital reference, introduces developments situation of the collaborative digital reference service of our country and foreign countries, analyses the present situation of Northwest area collaborative digital reference service and points out the existing problems, and puts forward some suggestions of the collaborative digital reference service in Northwest area.
