摘要 通过参与以"英国高等教育多样性"为主题的现场考察,选取"质"的观察角度,从"多样性"、"支持服务"和"一臂之距"三个方面结合中英高等教育发展现实进行剖析,认定多样性整体教育格局的形成来自于不同大学自身的差异化追求;英国大学中普遍强调的支持服务是现代大学管理效率的精髓;而政府对于大学的管控必须保持"一臂之距"。在同一概念之下不同的文化语义才是国际交流与项目对接合作的关键节点。 Having participated in the site investigation of 'the diversity of British higher education',choosing the 'qualitative' point of view,this paper analyzes the development and the reality of higher education both in China and the United Kingdom from three aspects of the 'diversity','support services' and 'an arm′s length',and considers that the diversity of the whole education pattern formation comes from its different pursuit from different university.The support services generally emphasized by British universities are the essence of the management efficiency of modern university.The most valuable experience for China′s system reform of higher education is that the government′s management and control over the universities must keep in an arm′s length.Furthermore,the paper points out that the same concept under different cultural semantics is the key nodes in the international exchange and cooperation projects.
