英—汉习语中数词语义模糊性研究

A Comparative Study of the Semantic Fuzziness of the Numerals in Chinese and English Idioms

数词是最早被人类认识并使用的词类之一,也是英语和汉语中最发达、最活跃的词类之一;而习语是语言的精华,体现着一个民族的生活习俗和文化传统。因此,带数字的习语在英语和汉语习语中都备受关注,而数词的语义在长期使用过程中逐渐由精确转为模糊。从文化认知、词类范畴和语义框架等方面入手,探讨英语和汉语习语中数词的语义模糊性,很有意义。

Numerals are not only one of the earliest and most commonly used parts of speech but also one of the most developed and active parts of speech.Idioms are the essence of the language,which reflect the nation’s culture,customs and traditions.Idioms with numerals are the important part of the Chinese and English idioms.During the long-term use,the meaning of the numerals gradually turned from preciseness to fuzziness.This paper will analyze the semantic fuzziness of the numerals in Chinese and English idioms from the perspective of cultural cognition,lexical category and semantic frame.
