摘要
二语词汇习得主要涉及两种不同的方法:直接学习(有意学习)和间接学习(附带学习)。本文在论述了二语习得的心理机制和词汇知识要素的基础上,比较了直接学习和间接学习的优缺点,并且对一定范围的在校本科非英语专业学生进行了问卷调查,从而得出结论:在间接学习的基础上增加直接学习,对词汇习得能力的提高有很大帮助,直接学习是对间接学习的有效补充。
The second language vocabulary acquisition mainly involves two different techniques: intentional learning and incidental learning.The discuss methods of this article are: 1,presenting the SLA psychological mechanism and the factors of vocabulary knowledge;2,comparing the advantages and disadvantages between intentional learning and incidental learning;3: the questionnaire in Chinese university ESL students of different levels.Then we draw the conclusion: 1,the incidental learning with intentional learning leads to acquisition of an even greater number of words as well as greater depth of knowledge;2,intentional learning plus incidental learning instruction results in better retention than incidental learning instruction.
