人本主义心理学的产生不仅对心理学产生了重大影响,它的出现也影响了20世纪以来的教育改革。它主张以学生为中心,尊重学生的客观需要,教师在教学中的角色由施教者变为引导者,学生的角色则由受教者变为积极主动的学习者。本文主要探讨了人本主义观点里的教师角色以及教师角色的转变对英语教师提出的新要求。

The establishment of the Humanistic Psychology not only has a strong effect on psychology, but also has an effect on the education reforming from the 20th century. It claims that students should be the center in teaching, and their needs should be respected. The role of teacher should change into a guider from an educator and students＇ roles should change into positive learners from recipients. This article mainly discusses the teacher＇s role in Humanistic views and its demand for English teacher.
