Loss and Reconstruction of Rural Filial Piety Culture in Social Transformation Period

孝是中华民族文化传统中基础性的精神内涵。社会转型时期,农村孝文化观念淡化,孝文化教育边缘化,孝道实践趋向弱化。因此,在农村加强孝文化的宣传教育、用法律手段约束孝行为、完善农村养老保障制度,对和谐家庭、和谐社会的建构有着积极作用。

The filial piety is the basic spiritual connotation of Chinese traditional culture. In the social transformation period, the concept of filial piety culture of rural China was diluted ; the education of filial piety culture was marginalized ; the filial piety practice was weakened. Hence, strengthening the publicity and education of filial piety culture in rural areas, constraining unfilial behaviors by legal means and perfec- ting rural pension system play a considerably positive role in building harmonious families and society.
