西北艺术文物考察团唐陵考察活动述评

Investigation of Tang Dynasty Mausoleums by Northwest Art and Cultural Relics Investigation Team

1943年8至11月,以王子云为团长的西北艺术文物考察团对唐代帝陵进行了全面、系统的考察,收集、保存了一大批重要的文物和艺术资料,对于唐代帝陵和石雕研究产生了深远的影响。本文通过对《唐陵考察日记》等新发表资料的研究,初步分析了西北艺术文物考察团唐陵考察活动的经过、方法、成果,并指出其在考察规模、石刻分期、资料保存、文物保护等方面的重要意义。

From August to November 1943, the Northwest Art and Cultural Relics Investigation Team, headed by Wang Ziyun, conducted a comprehensive and systematic investigation of Tang dynasty mausoleums, during which a large number of materials of artistic and cultural values were collected. This investigation is significant to researches on Tang mausoleums and stone carvings. Based on the recently published investigation diary as well as other documents, this paper summarizes this unprecedented large- scale investigation, its methods and results and influences on the study of stone carvings by period, data preservation and cultural relic protection.
