A Premiere 37 Years Later-Thoughts on My First Symphony

《第一交响乐》创作于 1 962年 ,37年后才得以首演。本文对作品的创作过程和当时的人文背景进行了回顾和思考 ,并且总结了这部作品在今日的意义 :作品体现了当时上海音乐学院作曲教学水准 ,同时也是中国交响音乐创作历史中的一部代表作 ,更重要的是这部作品是在脱离了当时“极左”思潮的影响 ,按照艺术自身的规律 ,充分发挥了交响音乐的思维和原则的情形下所创作的。本作品的上演和对它的回顾总结 ,将对目前中国音乐创作具有一定的启迪价值。

The premiere of a conservatory graduate's symphony in 1962 was not granted permission until 1999. The composer makes reflections on the event, suggesting some historical revelations. In his recollection are the writing process and its social and historical background, the accumulation and formation of his artistic thinking, the work's artistic and intellect connotations, and its significance in reality.
