It is a tough task to achieve the same artistic conception and aesthetic feelings in the original text and the translation. Taking the CONTAINMENT schema as the starting point, this essay discusses the reconstruction of the artistic conception in the translation of Chinese classical poetry and points out that translating Chinese classical poetry from the perspective of containment metaphor can reconstruct the artis- tic conception and achieve the same stylistic effect of the original text, supporting a new point of view for poetry translation.
