摘要
翻译是一门艺术。从源语的意义层面来看,翻译的全过程都与美学息息相关,因此,要提高翻译教学质量,培养学生审美意识是根本。本文作者分析了非英语专业研究生科技英语课程现状及存在的问题,提出培养学生审美意识势在必行,并从三个方面分析了培养学生审美意识的策略。
Translation is an art. Translation process is closely related to aesthetics in terms of the meaning of the original text and therefore, the improvement of translation teaching quality impinges largely on cultivating students' aesthetic consciousness. This paper analyzes the status quo of the teaching of English for Science and Technology and the problems underlying it and it is argued that to cultivate students' aesthetic consciousness is an avoidable trend of translation teaching. Three strategies are demonstrated in this paper to cultivate students' aesthetic consciousness.
