肿瘤放射治疗物理技术新进展 被引量:10

摘要 肿瘤放射物理学是医学物理学的一个重要分支,是放射肿瘤学的重要基础,将放射物理的基本原理和概念应用于肿瘤的放射治疗。自1895年伦琴发现X线以及1898年居里夫妇发现放射性元素镭后不久,放射线即被用于治疗恶性肿瘤。一百多年来,放射肿瘤学取得的成就紧密系于肿瘤放射物理学的进展。肿瘤放射物理学主要是研究放疗设备的结构、性能以及各种射线在人体内的分布规律,探讨提高肿瘤剂量、降低正常组织受量的物理方法的学科。
