高职商务英语专业课程设置优化研究——以苏州农业职业技术学院为例

Research on Curriculum Innovation and Improvement of Business English Major in Higher Vocational Institutions

课程设置是人才培养方案中的重要组成部分，课程设置的合理与否将直接影响到学校落实专业培养目标和人才培养规格的质量。本研究以苏农院2008和2009届的部分毕业生及其用人单位为调查对象，调查了我院商务英语专业两届毕业生对我院商务英语专业课程设置的意见和看法；用人单位对商务英语专业毕业生的能力、素质要求和社会对商务英语专业毕业生需求量。调查结果显示，商务英语专业毕业生就业的机会还是较多的；大部分职业需要持有国家颁发的资格证书才能上岗工作；对于我院商务英语专业的课程设置，七成以上的毕业生认为基本能满足毕业生就业的需要，但还有待进一步改进。本研究对其他高职院校的商务英语教学有一定的参考价值。

A curriculum and course design is a key part of talent cultivation. In order to tailor curricula to business English majors＇ unique needs and required competeneies and develop an effective course design targeted to students in Suzhou Polytechnic Institute of Agriculture to reach desired instructional goals, a survey was carried out. Data collection and analysis were obtained from questionnaires and interviews. Results of the study reveal that feedback is positive, however, the existing curriculum needs to be further improved.
