Globalization brings forth the development of a novel kind,poses many challenges,facilitates encounters and dialogs between polities of different ideology,and helps innovate the theory of economic development.In the era of globalization,it is imperative for the developing countries and regions to keep as a priority a well-balanced relationship between the government and the market.They should also strengthen their globally competitive muscles to promote trade development,attract FDI to get knowledge and technology spillover,advance discreetly financial globalization and liberalization,which are both based on the endogenous financial system,forward industrial upgrading and the growth of industrial clusters according to their positions in the GVC,and get involved actively in the global cooperation to build up low-carbon economy as well.As the largest of developing countries,China should do as follows: taking advantage of every development opportunity emerging in the globalization so as to further the reform of government system and the transition to the market economy of a government-market integration kind,propelling innovation-driven development so as to build up an innovation-oriented nation,accelerating the development of trade and investment so as to establish national competitive advantage,strengthening the reform of financial institutions so as to get integrated into global financial system,promoting industrial and technological upgrading so as to lead the global industrial chain,and building the resource-saving and environment-friendly society so as to advance the construction of ecological civilization and achieve sustainable development.
