民族精神与民族主义辨析——兼论对待当代中国民族主义话语的态度

Analysis on National Spirit and Nationalism——Deals with the Attitude to Contemporary Chinese Nationalism Discourse

民族精神与民族主义既有区别,又有联系。二者的具体内容和表现形式不同,产生的基础不同,价值取向和社会作用不同。但它们都是对本民族身份的认同和本民族利益的维护,二者的精神实质和价值取向相互影响,二者对社会发展的作用相互依赖。我们一定要科学界定当代中国民族主义话语的使用范围和意义域限。在舆论宣传、国家政策和国民教育等层面要坚持以民族精神而不是民族主义作为中心话语。

The national spirit and nationalism not only have the differences, also have contacts. Their specific contents and forms are different, their basis is different, and their value orientation and social effects are different. However, they are all reflected on the national identity recognition and the national interests, their spiritual essence and value orientation are influ- enced from each other, their role in social development are interdependent. We must define the using range and meaning domain limit to the contemporary Chinese nationalism discourse scientifically. In public opinion propaganda, national policies and national education we should adhere to the national spirit rather than nationalism as the center of discourse.
