综述了皮肤黑色素的产生机理及排泄途径和天然植物成分美白途径。皮肤美白主要有2种方式,即抑制黑色素合成酶的活性和促进黑色素排出。目前,皮肤主要是通过抑制酪氨酸酶活性和促进黑色素的吸收代谢这2种方式来达到美白效果。

This article summarized the present status of the generation of skin melanin, it＇ s excretion pathway and whitening mechanism of some natural plant ingredients. Currently, skin whitening was achieved through two ways： inhibition of tyrosinase activity or promotion of the melanin metabolism. Further, future of research and development were prospected.
