探讨中国妇女解放的心路历程——以莫言作品《蛙》中的姑姑形象为例

中国作家莫言的小说《蛙》,成功地运用了书信、小说、戏剧等跨文体写作的艺术手法,以新中国近60年波澜起伏的农村生育史为背景,成功塑造了姑姑这样一位从事妇产科工作50多年的乡村女医生的形象。本文从社会性别视角入手,分析姑姑的人物形象。指出姑姑作为中国解放妇女的特点和局限性,姑姑的人物性格是典型环境中的典型人物性格,姑姑的悲剧命运,是典型环境中的人物悲剧命运。姑姑身上具有鲜明的个性:对农村落后的生育习俗"重男轻女"的反抗的大无畏精神,敢于担当的立志要改造社会的自觉参与和主人翁的忘我牺牲精神,脚踏实地对工作精益求精的责任感。姑姑不是一个简单的脸谱化的正面形象或者反面形象,而是一个具有复杂性的中国解放妇女形象。

Mo Yan＇ s novel, Frog, has successfully portrayed the image of the ＇ Auntie＇, a country doctor of gynecology and obstetrics who has worked for nearly 60 years. This thesis tries to analyze the Auntie＇ s image from the perspective of gender theories, and make a social and historic analysis of the text. It points out that the Auntie＇ s character is set against a typical background and her tragic fate is that of a typical character. The Auntie＇s resistance against the preference of boys over girls, her self-consciousness and participation in reforming society and her responsibility towards her work can be called ＇ the red legacy＇ of Chinese women＇ s liberation. The Auntie is not a simple positive or negative stereotype, but one of a complex Chinese liberated woman.
