Public lecture is nowadays an efficient and regular activity of public library＇s extension services.Attending public lectures has become an effective way for citizens to broaden their knowledge.This essay briefly outlines the development process and the current situation of public lectures in Dongguan Library,and elaborates the development strategy in a social transitional period,with the aim of providing quality services for the rising city.
