Discussion on Ability Enhancement of Subject Librarian from the Angle of Service Development—A Case Study of National Science Library of CAS

学科馆员的综合素质与服务能力决定学科化信息服务推进的广度和深度。学科化信息服务将经历从普遍服务到知识服务再到系统服务的发展过程。不同的发展阶段对学科馆员有着相应的能力要求,因此,学科馆员应按照服务推进的次序,逐步构建合理的知识结构,更好地提高自身的综合服务能力。

Efficient subject information service depends on the comprehensive quality and service ability of subject librarian.The service will progress from ＂Universal Service＂ to ＂Knowledge Service＂,and to the ＂System Service＂.Different stages of development have respective corresponding capacity requirements for subject librarian.So,they should construct reasonable knowledge structure gradually,and enhance the service ability of their own.
