孙本文先生对早期中国社会学贡献的再认识

Recognition of Mr.Sun Ben-wen's Contribution to Early Chinese Sociology Study

孙本文先生是中国早期社会学的领军人物,在中国早期社会学的发展中发挥着难以替代的作用。这主要表现在三个方面:一是孙本文建立了一个综合性的社会学理论体系,是早期中国社会学理论研究最高成就的代表性人物,他身上体现出来的理论自觉意识尤其值得珍惜;二是孙本文通过界定社会学研究对象、推进社会学本土化和彰显社会学的应用价值,积极为社会学立法,是解放前推进中国社会学学科发展壮大的代表性人物;三是孙本文身上体现出了中国社会学者报国为民、增促社会进步、有学派无宗派以及勤奋治学的精神,是体现中国社会学学科精神的代表性人物。所有这些都值得今天的中国社会学界学习借鉴。

Mr. Sun Ben-wen was a leading figure in the field of early Chinese sociology study, who played an indispensable role in the development of sociology study in China. His contribution was reflected in three aspects： Firstly, Sun, the representative figure of the highest achievements in the theoretical research of early Chinese sociology study, established a comprehensive theoretical system for sociology. And the theoretical con- sciousness he embodied was worth cherishing particularly; Secondly, by means of defi- ning the object of sociological research, promoting the localization of sociology study, and highlighting the applied value of sociology study, Sun positively made laws and reg- ulations for sociology study. Sun was the representative personage who promoted the development and expansion of sociology discipline in China before the liberation; Third- ly, Sun was the typical representative of the spirits of sociologists in China, who were diligent and were committed to serve the country by boosting social progress, and who regarded that there was no sectarian among different academic schools. All of these were worth learning.
