摘要
词汇习得包含词汇知识广度和深度习得两个维度。高阶英语学习词典不仅有助于拓展学习者词汇习得广度,更体现出在词汇深度习得方面的巨大潜力。本文在二语词汇习得理论指导下,管窥新一代高阶英语学习词典《麦克米伦高阶英语词典》承载的词汇知识信息及信息的组织呈现方式在高级英语学习者词汇知识深度习得中的作用,并提出基于学习词典提高英语学习者词汇深度习得水平的方法和策略。
There are two dimensions in vocabulary acquisition: breadth and depth of vocabulary acquisition. English learners' dictionary not only expands learners' breadth of vocabulary konowledge, but also has great potential to develop their depth of vocabulary knowledge, a prerequisite for automaticity in vocabulary production. This article explores the potential depth of vocabulary of Macmillan English Dictionary for Advanced Learners in developing advanced English learners' knowledge and proposes some strategies to improve their depth of vocabulary knowledge based on English learners' dictionary.
