China’s Science: The Overall Development and the Balance of Disciplinary Structure——Statistics and Analysis of SCI-indexed Papers in 2012

摘要 该报告以SCI论文为分析对象,利用文献计量学方法对中国科学整体发展状况和学科结构的均衡性进行分析。结果表明:中国在2012年综合排名上升至世界第4位,一跃成为第二阵营的领衔国家。中国的学科结构与其他TOP10国家不同:其他国家略微偏向生命科学、资源环境领域,而中国较大程度偏向材料科学、工程技术和化学。中国这种偏振的学科结构虽然日趋于均衡,但均衡度仍然低于科技发达国家。 This report analyzes the overall development and the balance of disciplinary structure of China’s science based on SCI-indexed Papers and bibiometric method. The statistics results show that: (1) China has jumped to be the world’s top fourth country and the leading country of 'the second group' based on the overall ranking. (2) China’s disciplinary structure is quite different from that of other TOP 10 countries. The other top 10 countries are biased toward life sciences and resource & environment areas slightly, while China is biased toward material science, engineering and chemistry greatly. Although the disciplinary structure of China is becoming balanced than before, the equitability of disciplinary structure is lower than the developed countries.
