老挝苗族新年上的跨国婚姻——以老挝川圹省丰沙湾市蒙毕县邦洋村为例

Laos' Transnational Marriages during the Hmong New Year——Taking Bangyang Village of Laos as an Example

综合人类学、民族学的视角,运用参与观察和深入访谈的田野调查方法,对老挝苗族新年上的跨国婚姻现象进行调查,描述其缔结方式、婚姻程序及成本,认为老挝苗族与美国苗族的跨国婚姻呈上升趋势,跨国婚姻增强了苗族的族群认同,促进了苗族自身的发展。

By combining anthropological and ethnological perspectives and adopting participative observation and in-depth interviews, this paper investigates into the Laos＇ transnational marriages during the Hmong New Year, describes by what and how a couple get married and how much a wedding costs. It is conclu-ded that transnationat marriages are on the increase between the Lao and Ameri-can Hmong people and that such marraiges have enhanced their ethnic identity
