Economic Globalization and the Maintenance of State Sovereignty in China

经济全球化是当今世界发展的一个重要趋势,它给传统意义上的国家主权带来了很大的冲击。在当代主要有三种不同主权观,即主权消亡论、主权让渡论和主权强化论,它们代表了不同利益的观点。在经济全球化下,我国应当从四个方面来维护好国家主权:第一,进一步发展我国的经济实力;第二,促进国有大型企业的发展,增强在国际上的竞争力;第三,深化理论研究,创新国家主权观;第四,加强社会主义文化建设。

Economic globalization, as an important trend in the development of the world, brings great impact on state sovereignty in the traditional sense. In the contemporary world, three views of sover-eignty exist, i. e. , the dying out of sovereignty theory, the transfer of sovereignty theory, and the strengthening of sovereignty theory; they represent three interest groups respectively. With economic globalization, China needs to maintain its sovereignty from the following aspects： 1 ） further develop- ment of China＇s economic strength; 2） promotion of large -scale state -owned enterprises so as to strengthen competitiveness in the global economy ; 3 ） deepening of theoretical research and the innova-tion of views of state sovereignty; and 4） improvement of the construction of socialist culture.
