贵州省公共服务领域中英标识语规范构建可行性研究

On the Feasibility of Norms of Public Signs in Guizhou Province

属于社会管理用语的公共标识语具有鲜明的目的性,负载着制约、规范、指示等信息。近期,国家语委在全国范围内组织专家、学者、公众对《公共服务领域外文译写规范:英文》(征求意见稿)进行讨论,预示着国家层面的公共服务领域外文译写规范即将出台。当前,贵州省城镇化进程取得明显的成就,但在公共服务领域外文译写方面缺乏相应的规范,不规范的外文译写现象在一定程度上影响了贵州的形象,因此,研制和出台贵州省公共服务领域中英标识语规范,具有积极的现实意义。

With a distinct purpose in social management, public signs have information for restrictions, specifications or instructions. Recently, the National Language Committee organized a nationwide dis-cussion from experts, scholars and the public about Draft of Writing and Translating Norms of Public Signs ： English, which indicates the coming issue of writing and translating norms of public signs in for- eign languages at the state level. At present, obvious achievements have been made in the process of urbanization in Guizhou Province. However, it is still short of related norms in public signs and the poor writing or translations of public sings have brought negative impacts to Guizhou. The design and issue of writing and translating norms of public signs in foreign languages in Guizhou is of positive and practical significanees.
