Falling Man is a 9/11 definition work by Don DeLillo, published in 2007. It was described, by The Times, to be an anthem dedicated to New York City and the fallen victims. In this work, DeLillo gave a detailed depiction of the terrorist attack~ strong psychological impact on the public, and the process of people＇s self- adjustment. By analyzing the features of three different main characters in this novel, the ways common people healed their psychological wounds were explored, thereby enabling readers to have a better understanding of the great impact on American society and American people by that calamity.
