摘要
以较为系统的方式概述了人力资源管理在中国的四大挑战。在这些挑战当中,最为困难的是将人力资源管理与企业经营战略联结在一起的策略或方法。人力资源战略指的是组织就人力资源及如何对人力资源进行组织所做的各种流程、决策以及选择。在提出可表示人力资源战略和更为宽泛的经营战略关系的概念模型之后,通过北美最大的食品营销和分销企业西斯科公司来说明该模型是如何进行实际应用的。研究结果表明,人力资源与企业经营战略的联结是解决中国人力资源管理中其他重大挑战的基础。
Abstract: This paper outlines four great challenges to a more systematic approach to human re source management in China. Of these, the first and most difficult is to link the strategy or approach to managing human resources with a firm's business strategy. HR strategy refers to the processes, decisions, and choices an organization makes regarding its human resources and how they are organ ized. After presenting a conceptual model that shows the relationship of HR strategy to the broader strategy of a business, the paper shows how that model was actually applied in the largest food mar keting and distribution company in North America, SYSCO Corporation. The paper concludes by em- phasizing that the alignment of HR and business strategy serves as the basis for addressing each of the three other great challenges to HRM in China.
